A 35-year-old man has been arrested by the police, after two days ago he had an accident with a 38-year-old man - who died as a result - and fled the scene.
The accident happened on May 31, on the Fushë Mamurras-Adriatik road axis, in the place called "Presa e Bami", where the 38-year-old AC citizen, a resident of Adriatic, was riding a bicycle. He was found by passers-by and then transported to the hospital, but as a result of the serious physical injuries he received, he died.

"As a result of intensive investigative and procedural actions carried out by the traffic police services in cooperation with the services of the Kurbin Police Station, it became possible to identify and arrest the driver of the vehicle that caused the accident, SR citizen, 35 years old, resident of Kurbin . Also, as material evidence, the "Benz" type vehicle driven by the SR citizen at the time of the accident was found and seized," the police said.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Lezhë, for further actions, for the criminal offenses "Violation of traffic rules" and "Leaving the scene of the accident".
