Interior Minister Taulant Balla has congratulated the state police for the capture and arrest of Klered Bozhanaj, the 42-year-old who tried to kill the police officer, inspector Edlir Allesh.

I congratulate the State Police for the arrest of the author of the wounding of the Eagles officer yesterday evening in Tirana.
It is the moment to remember who disobeys the order/lawful call of the police, or even worse opposes it with force, dares to insult, aggress, threaten, hit him or even endanger his life in the exercise of his duty or because of duty, it should be clear that tolerance will be ZERO.
I will do everything for a new criminal policy/practice to take place in this regard, seeking the support of the justice system. The legal framework is there in the Criminal Code (with the changes that I myself supported in the Assembly in 2019) and in the law on the State Police.
