Lawyer Leonard Karaj described the arrest of the former mayor of Durrës, Vangjush Dakos, as a show.
In an interview for Euronews Albania, he said that we cannot make those 18 SPAK prosecutors look like they came from the planet Mars.
"They are people who live among us, they are a product of Albanian society. We want to do justice to the 17 or 18 prosecutors and 100 or 200 judges that we have in all of Albania against the 2 million Albanians who from morning until dinner try to screw each other over. Are you on the fence now or not? We are citizens with morals in the first place," said Karaj.
According to him, it is not ethical to take a former politician of the majority or the opposition to prison in order to give him a bone to lick the public opinion.
