A cocaine sales network worth 300,000 euros is dismantled. Drugs were even hidden in medicine boxes. The trade was even done from the window of the house and at family dinners.

The State Police in Asti with the mobile squad stopped a drug deal of about 1500 doses of cocaine with a total value of 300 thousand euros. 10 suspected drug dealers, 4 arrested, one of them red-handed. Police also seized a building and land, bought with profits from drug trafficking.

The investigations started at the end of 2021, after monitoring numerous sales, in the center of Asti, by 51-year-old Albanian Isuf Hadaj. He was the main name: he traded day and night, especially in the areas of Corso Torino and near the Parco della Resistenza.

The activity was described by him as "work": 1500 doses of cocaine (about 3 kg) were monitored, for a value of 280 thousand euros. Some transfers were made near schools and minor children. He even sold from the window of the house and during family dinners.

The gang also used special tricks, switching cars or even hiding drugs in medicine boxes.

The other two arrested are Davide Battiston, born in 1978, in prison and Fabiola Ghiotti, born in 1994, under house arrest, who posed as buyers of cocaine, to then distribute the goods in Piazza Asti, for an amount of 200 grams, for a value of about 20 thousand euros.

The other subjects reported are four other Albanians and three Italians, who turned out to be suspected drug dealers.

One of Hadaj's clients has also been denounced for the crime of theft: he is suspected of having paid for cocaine through the theft of construction tools worth 10,000 euros.

In the area of ??Antignano, a building with land, bought with illegal proceeds, was subject to preventive seizure.

During the checks, in coordination with the Asti prosecutor's office, 11,000 euro checks, cocaine ready for sale and 12,000 euro of drug trafficking proceeds were seized. Circumstance during which one of the suspects, Nikolin Preci, 33 years old, was arrested red-handed, after 28 'balls' of cocaine and 12,000 euros in cash were found on him.
