The great master and irreplaceable artist, Mirush Kabashi, was escorted today to his last residence, after paying his respects at the National Museum in Tirana.

The well-known actor and genius of the stage passed away in the early hours of Tuesday morning (December 5) in a private hospital, where he had been admitted after health complications.

Mirush Kabashi fought with the serious illness for 5 years, but he could not win the battle, passing away at the age of 75.

From the National Museum where tributes were held in his honor, the daughter of the late artist Mendi Kabashi, said that her father did not expect death and that this was the first battle that the actor lost in his life. She confessed that she still feels his presence everywhere and that she has a hard time accepting his departure.

"It's still unbelievable for us. He was used to winning all his battles, but he failed with this last one. I still feel him everywhere, I have a hard time accepting his departure, I know he won't leave because he left a great work. We are very grateful to everyone, especially the common public that he loved and appreciated people very much. We had to divide him between the common public, the stage, his art which was no longer his profession but his life. Even at home he repeated all the time repeating his texts.

He was outgoing, he was there with us, he definitely dedicated time to us, he was always very close to my mother, he was not a man of cafes and bars, he was a man of few words, he chose where he went and appeared on stage a lot because he did not want to become stale . He did not go to any stage, except those that corresponded to his values ??and principles. He had strong principles, an idealist, stronger than the ideal itself.

Even for me, for a long time, it was difficult to understand how it is possible that a man manages to make a compromise somewhere, sometime in a situation, but he does not. The only compromise he made in life, the iron character he had, he broke in front of my daughter like grandfather Mirushi, it was another thing, with us he kept his iron character, although we had conversations and he was a sportsman, we spoke as friends, he talked to us and exchanged thoughts . I live far away and we have exhausted our phone conversations", said the daughter of Mirush Kabashi.

Mendi Kabashi said that the actor recently had a cure, but had a complication and passed away.

She confessed that the last two weeks have been spent in the hospital, but emphasized that Mirush Kabashi did not expect death despite the fact that he had been battling the disease for several years.

"The truth is that he did not think that this day would come so soon, for us it was unexpected even though he suffered from a serious illness for 5 years.

He fought, but this with death came suddenly, even though we knew it was coming, you are never prepared for this day.

There were projects left in the middle, it came from a cure he did recently and unfortunately a complication occurred and he died in the hospital.

I had many conversations with him, I spent the last two weeks with him, unfortunately not the way we wanted to see him, we were in the hospital. He truly valued his privacy and held it sacred.

The biggest lesson he gave us is to fight hard, be fair and not compromise in life, he was great and dedicated himself to the smallest things with the greatest passion. He was a great man", she said between tears.
