The director of the Department of Public Order and Security, Rebani Jaupaj, was asked by journalists about the protest, which the opposition announced on December 6. He stated that he does not prevent the rally outside the security zone, while he vowed that the State Police will take every measure to guarantee the opposition's protest, but only after they have agreed on the place where they will hold it.

"The police have returned an answer, and our answer has been made public and we have addressed all the limitations that the police have regarding this activity. The other part, Skenderbej square, for them to hold the rally, is their right and of course we will take measures for the success of that rally, but after we have agreed on the place where it will take place ", said Jaupaj.

Today, the State Police has published the plan of measures for the success of the EU-Western Balkans summit in Tirana on December 6. 

"Dëshmorët e Kombit" boulevard, from the Dajti bridge to "Mother Teresa" Square; "Bajram Curri" boulevard from the intersection with "Elbasani" street to the intersection with "Ibrahim Rugova" street; "Pope John Paul II" street from ETC-RTSH-Stadium; "Dervish Hima" street; "Asim Zeneli" street; "Themistokli Gërmenji" street, near Elbasan street and the intersection near "Papa John Paul II" street; "Ismail Qemali" street, from the Liceu intersection to "Elbasani" street.= "Mustafa Matohiti" street, near the "Kosova" school; "Jul Variboba" street, near the post office, on Elbasani street and "Papa John Paul II" street; "Fatmir Haxhiu" street, ETC; "Lekë Dukagjini" street, from "Shopen" square, to "Air Albania" stadium and around the stadium; "Skerdilajd Llagami" street and "Faik Konica" street.
