March 30 coincides with the International White T-Shirt Day. The President of the country, Bajram Begaj, on this day marked for medicine, congratulated the doctors throughout Albania with humility for their hard work.

The values ??of doctors came to the fore during the covid-19 pandemic, where they put themselves at risk for employees.

Begaj, through a reaction on social networks, remembered the 'Hippocratic Inquiry', and as such, they swore before the patients to heal them, taking into account the risks.

President Begaj's message:

On the International Doctor's Day, I wish all the doctors of Albania, for their hard work, in the service of the citizens.
The COVID-19 pandemic brought to our attention the greatness and humility of the doctor's mission. For months, our doctors dedicated themselves to sick patients, staying true to the "Oath of Hippocrates" and not asking about the danger that threatened them or their families.
Today, as fortunately the difficult days of the pandemic seem to be a memory of the past, the example of their selflessness should not remain a thing of the past, on the contrary, it should be one more reason to respect the white shirts for professionalism and their dedication.
