New details have come to light regarding the event of Monday evening, where an officer of the special force Shqiponja fired a firearm on "Siri Kodra" street, in Tirana.
The police officer, identified as Adrian Meta, allegedly worked as a bodyguard after working hours in the ranks of the blue uniforms. On Monday evening, the person guarded by the Meta officer had an argument with a citizen.
The latter called some of his acquaintances to clarify, and at this moment the police officer intervened and fired a gun into the air, terrorizing the residents of the area.
This case is being followed by the Police Surveillance Agency and the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana. This is not the first time that Shqiponja police officers are involved in such events.
10 days ago, two employees of this structure were involved in another physical conflict, with one of their colleagues, who works in the Police of Vlora.
