The use of social networks, as a way to promote drastic speeding by young people on the road, has become a serious problem and potential risk for accidents in our country. Road expert Gëzim Hoxha, in an interview for the show 'Today Live in Albania' on Report TV, proposes that people who are caught using the phone while driving should have their license revoked forever. Hoxhaj said that using a mobile phone blocks your brain and is equivalent to drinking alcohol.

'People who used mobile phones should have their licenses revoked forever. We lack education. We are in conditions where we have a lot of problems with this. Additional measures should be taken, I would say the removal of the license forever, especially for those who advertise these, especially on socialist networks and Tik-Tok. But for the lawyer Alban Duraj, the drastic measures are not the right ones, since it is not the fact that they bring a reduction in accidents or violations of the Road Code. According to Duraj, it is necessary to work with the education of citizens about road traffic.

'These are drastic measures that do no good or that do not show that we have a reduction in accidents. Sociological studies have shown that heavy punitive measures are not appropriate. We have to educate the society. This is a phenomenon that has spread, but in recent years we do not have civic education like walking on the streets. We need some kind of civic education at school, at work, when we learn to drive. These facilitation mechanisms are needed for how a citizen obtains a driving license. Drivers don't understand the importance of being behind the wheel. Man is a conscious being that must be educated.'- said Duraj.
