6 people were arrested for altering the election result in the elections of April 25 last year.

The police have informed that they have executed the security measures "Prison arrest", for the criminal offense "Falsification of election materials and election results".

Specialists for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crime in the Local Police Directorate of Elbasan executed the security measures "Prison arrest", for the criminal offense "Falsification of election materials and election results", for citizens:

EK, 35 years old, resident in Prrenjas;
YK, 35 years old, resident in the village of Karkavec, Prrenjas;
DA, 49 years old, resident in Prrenjas;
ED, 31 years old, resident in the village of Berzeshta, Prrenjas;
MV, 33 years old, resident in the village of Rrajcë Fushë, Prrenjas;
OA, 40 years old, resident in Prrenjas.
From the investigative actions it is suspected that these citizens, who had the task of counting the votes, during the election process of 25.04.2021, in cooperation with each other, have entered in the result tables, data different from those of the ballot papers. voting, in order to favor the candidates of electoral subjects.

The investigative materials were forwarded to the Elbasan Prosecutor's Office, for further actions.
