What connects Aldo Baren with Laert Haxhina? The well-known lawyer speaks

Oligert Kume, the lawyer of Aldo Bares, said in the Review show on Euronews Albania that his client has no connection with Laert Haxhina, accused of ordering several serious crimes through hired killers. He stated that the Lushnja Gang does not exist and this is legally proven, so the use of this terminology by the media, according to the lawyer, is abusive.

"It's been three days that Aldo Bare's name has been mentioned as the head of the Lushnja Band, while there is no Lushnja Band with Aldo Baren as the leader. And this is a legally proven fact since the armed gang has not been proven to exist by final decision. There should be no public trial for people from 1997 onwards, but let justice be done", said the lawyer, as he refuted the news that Haxhia was Aldo Bare's rival.

 
Leart Haxhiu is known for a series of crimes committed in the city of Lushnje, where he is accused of murdering three people.

The 31-year-old is suspected of being the main assassin of the event of September 11, 2017 in Lushnje, where two people, Jurgen Hoxha and Samir Latifit, were killed. He is also accused of killing Gerti Sala, otherwise known as "Iriqi", a member of the Lushnja gang in 2009.

Meanwhile, Haxhiu is suspected of being the main author of the pistol wounding of Saimo Xheli on September 25, 2016, where in the same year he tried to execute the nephew of Aldo Bare, Xhuljo Shkurti in the center of Lushnja.
