The court acquits Fatjon Murataj

The Tirana court has declared Fatjon Murataj innocent, while Kristjan Gjini has been sentenced to 7 years and 6 months, reduced to 5 years from the shortened trial, related to the base of weapons discovered in a villa on the outskirts of Tirana. Meanwhile, Franceska Kolgjegja was sentenced to 90 years for public service work. With today's decision, Murataj remains in search of leaving the apartment.

The Prosecutor's Office of Tirana had 12 years in prison for Kristumian Gjini, while 3 years for Murat, who turns out to be the owner of the bar in "Don Bosko" that was shot with automatic fire, where the bartender was killed and six others were injured, among to whom a minor. The event happened at the time when Murataj should have been under house arrest, because of the weapons discovered after the assassination, the police did not find him in the apartment.

Murataj was blamed by the prosecution for "unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition" in the apartment.

It was precisely a fingerprint on a suitcase that was found in Kristian Gjin's apartment, the evidence that led to Fatjon Murat's arrest a few months ago. Afterwards, he was released by the Tirana court that ordered him under house arrest, arguing that the prosecution had failed to find any other evidence to implicate him, except for the fingerprint.
