The Ministry of Justice reveals the causes of the death of the convict in the Shënkolli prison.
According to the press release, it is said that Azem Dauti, 61 years old, born and resident in Dibër, accused of the criminal offense "Domestic violence" with the measure "Forced treatment in a medical institution" given by the decision of the Dibër Judicial District Court has passed away in Lezha hospital.
Dauti had initially served his sentence in Zaharia prison and was suffering from several illnesses, receiving treatment for years.
Today at around 3:06 p.m., after having eaten his lunch, the patient was found to be in a very serious clinical condition by the medical staff, with no pulse, no tension, no corneal and bulbar reflex.
