'I am grateful to my father for everything', what the 14-year-old girl wrote in Skopje before she was kidnapped and killed
Written by SOT.COM.AL 5 Dhjetor 2023
The journalist from North Macedonia, Emine Ismail reveals to Report TV new details from the crime that shocked Skopje. An autopsy was performed, and the body of 14-year-old Vanja Gjor?evska, who was killed and found buried near Skopje almost a week after her disappearance, was handed over to her mother.
So far, 5 people are suspected of being involved in this serious crime, but also in the murder of the 74-year-old from Veles, North Macedonia. The autopsy will determine the time and causes of the murder of the 14-year-old girl who disappeared on November 27 shortly after leaving her apartment to go to school and was found murdered and buried on December 3.
This is one of the main pieces of evidence in the trial against Lupço Palevski – Pallço, Velibor Manevi, Vlatko Keshishev, Bore Videvski and the victim's father, Aleksandar Gjor?evski.
An international arrest warrant has been signed for Lupço Palevski, while her father is under arrest. What makes this story more tragic is the involvement of the girl's father.
The arrested persons in the testimony they gave said that they got the times when the girl would leave the house from her father. The motive of the kidnapping was to get money from her mother because the spouses were divorced.
Did the kidnappers take money?
"It was never possible to ask for the money. The arrested persons said that they killed the girl who lived with her mother out of panic to avoid being caught and punished. There wasn't even time to look for the money for which she was abducted," the journalist from North Macedonia, Emine Ismaili, told Report TV.
The incident is made even more serious by the fact that the girl loved her father very much. Journalist Ismaili reveals an unknown detail
"In an assignment for Thanksgiving, the 14-year-old girl wrote that she was grateful and grateful for her whole life to her father for what he had done," she says.
What did the girl's father say?
The girl's father denied it. He has not admitted that he is involved in this case, however, he has been arrested for 48 hours, explained journalist Ismaili for the show "Today Live in Albania" with journalist Nertil Agalliu.
On Saturday, civil society called a protest to demand the death penalty for the perpetrators of this serious crime.
