Energy price, ERE comes out with the important announcement

The Energy Regulatory Body has announced today that it will convene the board on October 7.

It is expected to decide on the request for the suspension of the increase in the price of energy

Pursuant to (i) Article 13 and 16 of Law No. 43/2015, "On the Electricity Sector"; amended, Law No. 8480, dated 27.5.1 999 on "The Functioning of the collegial bodies of the state administration and public entities, (ii) of the Internal Regulation of the Organization and Functioning of the Energy Regulatory Entity (ERE), approved by the decision of ERE board no. 199, dated 27.11.2020 and (iii), of the Regulation on the Organization, Operation and Procedures of ERE, approved by the decision of the board of ERE no. 96, dated 17.06.2016, we announce that on Friday 07.10.2022, at 14:00, meeting no. 44 of the ERE Board, according to this agenda:

1. For a change in decision no. 242, dated 23.09.2022, of the board of ERE, "On
the approval of the electricity sales price of 42 ALL/kWh for consumption
over 800 kWh/month for family customers for the period 1 October - 31 December 2022"

Parties interested in participating in the meeting of the ERE board, in the premises of ERE or
through electronic communication technology platforms (online), must
send the request for participation in writing, to the e-mail address
[email protected] gov.al, as well as the method of participation and the issue they are interested in
pursuing.
