On World HIV Day, a strong denunciation has arrived at the newsroom of News24. The family members reported that their 1-year-old son was infected with HIV at the QSUT Hospital.
According to the family members, the little boy was not treated by Albanian doctors, who did not help them in this situation, but they found a solution in a neighboring country, which for the moment they do not want to make public.
The family members say they are sure that the contamination of the minor with the virus happened near QSUT, since the tests carried out in the laboratories in Germany were negative.
They describe the event as extremely serious and underline that they have not found a solution from the Albanian authorities, while they say that their lives have been ruined by this situation.
