The journalist from Kosovo, Velhar Isufi, revealed the details behind the tense situation in the north, where a policeman was killed. The journalist says that the meeting of the Security Council called by Albin Kurti has ended.

He emphasizes that the armed persons were masked and came from the territory of Serbia to Kosovo and shot at the police car. The journalist says that the armed persons are still inside the monastery of Bernjak and are surrounded by the Kosovo police, while there was also an exchange of fire between them.

We hope that new details will come out, where one policeman is dead, one policeman is injured and another officer is in stable condition, the projectile that was wounded in his hand was removed. The situation in that part remains tense. The police have closed the road that leads from northern Mitrovica to Zveçan.

It is suspected that persons dressed in green shirts and armed have entered the territory of the Republic of Kosovo and have positioned themselves in the monastery. They are currently standing, surrounded by the police and gunmen have fired from time to time. The police force in that area, KFOR, has increased and it is expected how it will be acted on.
