Why was Adriatik Llalla not extradited? The well-known journalist reveals details from the former prosecutor's file

In the Review show on Euronews Albania, some of the hottest issues of Albanian justice were discussed this Saturday.

Focusing on the non-extradition from Italy of former chief prosecutor Adriatik Llalla, journalist Ferdinand Dervishi called the investigation and sentencing of Llalla poorly done. According to him, probably because of his friendships, the former chief prosecutor's bank accounts were not seized, allowing him to have money and close "some other jobs".

"I believe that he should be in the process of obtaining asylum, if he has not received it and until this is done, none of the orders coming from Albania should be implemented. What strikes me is that it is one of the issues that has not been well investigated. The fact that there are people and friends who had his people and that joke that "eat your meat and leave your bones" may have been applied here. They seized some of his properties and did not freeze any of his bank accounts. And this man, having some money, could choose certain jobs", said Devishi.
