5,000 Lek reward, pensioners in Korçë and Pogradec unhappy: What do you do with 50,000 Lek? He can't even take the medicine

As the end-of-year bonus has been distributed for two days, in the southeast of the country, in Korça, pensioners express their dissatisfaction with the figure of 5,000 lek, as according to them it is insufficient.

"I receive 170 thousand lek, I can't afford it. I'm on meds, husband on meds. This 50,000 Lek is not enough, even if it was once in a while, but it doesn't come out for a month. The man with an evil disease, himself with epilepsy. I won't get anything for the new year for the heads of the children", said a woman to Euroneës Albania.

"50 thousand Leksi for water and electricity, but for medicine, it does not come out. Are they made for 50 thousand lek? They think about themselves, not about the people", said a man.

"I have almost no pension at all. I have a very small one. The child helps us, as my job is everyone. This 50,000 Leksi is the minimum pension scheme, this age of mine was changed by the system", said someone else.

"It is not enough. What do you do with 50 thousand lek? He can't even take the medicine because we are sick", said another interviewee.

Even in Pogradec, the dissatisfaction of pensioners is visible.

"We cannot wash away the flu. We can neither buy meat nor chicken, we will wash the rent, the land, everything. Miners should at least have 100 thousand lek", said one man.

"As soon as we reach it, we will take the small step, as much as we have. At least it was 100 thousand lek, at least 100."

"What do you buy? We cannot take medicines. I'm coming, don't you."

There are more than 46,000 pensioners in the entire Korça District who receive the reward, besides them, disabled people and those with economic assistance also benefit.
