Tensions in the North/ The chairman of the PDK explodes in serious accusations against Kurti: He cannot speak on behalf of the 2 elected presidents, postponing the elections was unconstitutional

The chairman of PDK in Kosovo, Memli Krasniqi, has accused Prime Minister Albin Kurti of the situation happening in the north of the country with the local Serbs. In a direct link to the 'Opinion' show, Krasniqi said that Prime Minister Kurti's actions are not unexpected for him.

"It is not a surprise because what Mr. Kurti defined at every step of his political trajectory was an isolated action without consultation. I am not surprised that he does not consult with Mr. Rama or Mr. Grubi because he has not consulted with Kosovo's main partners either. Mr. Kurti does not have the legitimacy to destroy Kosovo's relations with international partners. Therefore, it cannot be hidden behind the numbers because in everyday life there is a drastic failure, in the economy, in education. The recent actions have exceeded all limits, despite the fact that they are not new".

In Zubin Potok and Zveçan, 2 presidents from the ranks of the PDK have won, for whom Krasniqi said that they are exercising their duties in other premises.

"The leaders of PDK in Zubin Potok and Zveçan, considering the escalation of the situation, have continued working in other municipal offices but not in the city offices."

As for the thesis to redo other elections in the north of Kosovo, Krasniqi said that the laws and the Constitution must be respected, while he emphasized that Prime Minister Albin Kurti cannot talk about any solution on behalf of the two PDK chairmen.

"There is a way that the laws must be respected in order to have new elections. The announcement of the elections was a consequence of Albin Kurti's mistakes, the postponement was unconstitutional. Albin Kurti cannot speak on behalf of the two chairmen who come from the ranks of the PDK".

Krasniqi also emphasized that regarding the situation happening in the north of the country, the opposition parties have not had any consultation with the highest leaders of Kosovo.

"There was no consultation by the state leaders. I have been in direct communication with international partners, especially with the representatives of the USA".
