The director of the Tirana Local Police Directorate, Chief Tonin Vocaj, has suspended three police officers from their duties after an unusual event that happened yesterday before midnight in the capital.
Vocaj has suspended the police officers:
- Inspector HS, with the duty of assistant specialist for Community Policing in Police Station No. 1;
- Inspector MS, with the duty of assistant specialist for the Investigation of Crimes at Police Station No. 2;
- DS, with the duty of assistant specialist for Community Policing in Police Station No. 3.
In addition, the Directorate of Professional Standards in the State Police has launched a disciplinary investigation, as well as the AMP has been notified as:
On 25.03.2023, around 11:55 p.m., on "Bardhyl" Street, the services of the Shqiponja Special Force found the above three citizens in a drunken state, arguing with each other, and during the escort they objected to the employees of the police.
