It hasn't gone on sale yet, but Turkey's first electric car, Togg, has received about 200,000 requests.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Industry and Technology in Turkey, Mustafa Varank said that the first car will be for President Erdogan, who made the order together with his wife, Emine. "Also, we received an order from the President of Azerbaijan, Aliyev. We hope that the second car will be for him," said Varank.
The company will deliver 20,000 T10X models this year, while their distribution will be done through a transparent lottery.
The price of the T10X model ranges from about $50,200 to $55,600, while the model with a more powerful battery costs $64,000. Togg T10X batteries can be charged from 20 percent to 80 percent in less than 28 minutes at fast charging stations.
