Charles issues 'absurd' ultimatum to Royal Palace: Fire employees who do this

When King Charles III ascended the British throne after the death of Queen Elizabeth, he inherited his late mother's residences, such as Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle, which have many staff protocols. Admittedly, the rules are sometimes strict and apply to everyone. But one rule doesn't seem to apply to King Charles.

 He has a great dislike for mobile phones

For staff working in royal residences, there is an unbreakable rule, which is to keep their mobile phones switched off during working hours. Excluded are those who work in the palace offices and need mobile phones to perform their duties. This rule of course applies to the new monarch who is known to not have a mobile phone.

The young monarch's dislike of mobile phones is well known. Now the regulation is more favorable than in the past, as today employees are allowed to have mobile phones with them, as long as they are turned off. In the past, cell phones were left outside the building during staff checks.
