"We do not rule out any scenario"/ The senior Ukrainian official makes the scary warning: Russia is preparing for an escalation of the war, here is what is expected to happen

The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Oleksiy Danilov, has warned that Russia is preparing for a maximum escalation of the war in the future. 

"Russia is preparing for maximum escalation. It's gathering everything possible, doing exercises and training... I can say that we are not ruling out any scenario in the next two to three weeks," said the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council in an interview with Sky News. Ukraine, Oleksiy Danilov.

He did not rule out the possibility that Russian President Putin would attempt another attack from the north, south and east, as happened on February 24, 2022, possibly even to coincide with the anniversary. At the same time, the Secretary of the NSDC said that the Ukrainian army was preparing for all eventualities and this time there was much more support from Western partners such as Great Britain than a year ago. He expected about half of the more than 320,000 troops mobilized by Russia last September to be involved in the second wave whenever it came. 

"We have gone through a very difficult period, but I am aware that the main fighting will not come and will happen this year, within two to three months. These will be defining months of the war. That is why Ukraine is asking its Western partners to send more lethal weapons and faster. In recent days, Kiev has been insisting that the West send fighter jets. It would be nice if they were [RAF] Typhoon jets. The F-16s are also good . Any help would be great," NSDC Secretary said.

Ukraine is reportedly looking to acquire modern fighters – the US Air Force F-16 or F-15 or their European counterparts the German Tornado or the Swedish Gripen – to replace its Soviet-era jets.
