"Putin is trying to misinform"/ Britain reacts after the alarm about uranium ammunition towards Ukraine, here is the truth
Written by SOT.COM.AL 21 Mars 2023
The Ministry of Defense in the United Kingdom has stated that Vladimir Putin is trying to "deliberately misinform" by publicly criticizing the decision to send munitions containing depleted uranium to Ukraine.
The Russian leader said Moscow would react if Britain took the move, which he claims heralds the West's move to supply Kiev with weapons containing nuclear components.
The Ministry of Defense has confirmed it will send munitions containing depleted uranium to Ukraine, adding that the British military has used the material in its shells "for decades". "It is a standard component and has nothing to do with nuclear weapons or capabilities," the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
"Russia knows this, but is deliberately trying to misinform", they said.
