Economy expert Fatos Çoçoli spoke about the possibility of having an energy band this year.
Invited to Euronea Albania, he emphasized that this year, unlike last year, we do not need to import energy.
According to him, energy prices will not be like last year, while he emphasized that with the optimal quota in Fierza, two out of three summer months can be afforded with energy.
"What was discussed in September 2022 was that the prices are so high that it was impossible to increase the consumption after 800 KW/hour. Now the prices are not higher. We imported 363 euros. This year we imported very little. This shows that we do not need much import. And if we need imports, the price is lower than that of a year ago. So with Fierza with the optimal quota, we can afford two out of three summer months. We won't have prices like last year anymore", he emphasized.
