The Fuel Transparency Board continues to make decisions, thus openly violating the law, because the "Constitution" decided to suspend it, while asking the government to dissolve it, through a reasoned decision. But this decision seems to be considered a "Grocery letter" by the government, because not only has it not dissolved the Theft Board, but the latter makes decisions and changes fuel prices according to the appetites of the oligarchs. Decision of the Constitutional Court

However, it is worth noting that the Constitutional Court abolished the Fuel Transparency Board a few weeks ago, considering it incompatible with the Constitution, after earlier abolishing the Food Board. We remind you that the Fuel Board was established by a normative act of the government on March 12, 2022 to keep under control the fuel prices affected by the war in Ukraine, but the Constitutional Court reasons that it has partially accepted the request of no less than one fifth of deputies of the Assembly of Albania and more specifically repealed article 21/10, point 2, second sentence, no. 39/2022" For the approval of normative act no. 5, dated 12.03.2022 For some additions to law no. 8450, dated 24.02.1999 "On the processing, transportation and trading of oil, gas and their by-products", amended. as incompatible with the Constitution of the Republic of Albania.
