The economic expert ranks the problems that 'unbalance' the labor market: The difference in wages... 

Igli Tola, an expert on the economy, invited to "A2 Business" by Aurora Sulçe, spoke about what the labor market in our country offers for women and girls.  
According to Tola, not only in the case of paid work, but also in the case when we are talking about the same job position, there is a difference in salary between men and women in Albania.

What jobs does the labor market offer today for women, to understand that, is it ever their choice?

Despite the fact that the categorization and distribution of work is already moving towards equality due to all policies, but also incentives, not only in Albania, but also globally, we still have to say that, not only in the case of paid work, but even in the case when we are talking about the same job position, there is a difference in salary between men and women in Albania.

Meanwhile, if we go to see the sectors one by one, we are aware that those sectors that have lower payments, very close to the minimum wage, such as the fashion sector or others, are normally dominated by the female gender. But this does not mean that this is something categorical.

This is because we also have positive cases of success, for example in the public administration where we have achieved that equality, or equal distribution between employees between women and men.

There is a great paradox, that women and girls turn out to be the most educated, and on the other hand, they are the ones who are paid the least...

Yes, this happens because when we talk about graduation, we also have to look at the emigration factor, we have to see how many women enter and leave the faculty, because of that phenomenon that is the gangrene of the country, which is emigration.
