Forum for security, Albin Kurti meets with the two senior EU officials

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, met with the High Representative of the European Union, Josep Borrell, and the EU envoy for dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, Miroslav Lajcak, during his visit on Wednesday in Bratislava, Slovakia.

The meeting took place before Kurt's participation in a discussion on the future of Kosovo within the Global Security Conference in Bratislava.

"Yes, Prime Minister Kurti is participating today in the last day of the Global Security Conference in Bratislava. Among other things, there he will meet the High representative of the EU, Borrell, and the emissary of the EU, Lajçak, as well as be part of several discussion panels. His stay will be one day. It will be in Kosovo within the day", said the Government's spokesperson, Pëparim Kryeziu, earlier on May 31 for Radio Free Europe.

European Union sources on Tuesday mentioned Bratislava as a possible meeting place for Kurti with the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vu?i?, and said that they are working in this direction.
Both leaders were invited to the Security Forum being held in Bratislava. Kurti's Government initially said that the Prime Minister has postponed the participation, due to the developments in the north of Kosovo.

His images were published on social networks by the Slovak Institute, GLOBSEC, which is organizing the forum.

Vucic, however, said that he will not go to Bratislava, because, as he said, "it is more important to be with my people".
