Celebrity Big Brother star Lauren Harries has been put into an induced coma following major brain surgery.

The 45-year-old British woman underwent emergency surgery in April after being hospitalized with a mysterious condition. Her family shared an update with fans on her social media page.

"Last night Lauren took a turn for the worse and doctors had to put her in an induced coma to get her under control. Lauren needs all your support and wishes, she loves you all," the message read.

Fans were quick to send their congratulations to Lauren, who previously appeared on Channel 4's Naked Attraction, in 2019.

Lauren took off her bandages last week after major brain surgery. The TV personality posed for pictures in the hospital after emergency surgery resulted in him shaving his head. Lauren's mother, Katy, has been updating fans on Lauren's progress on Twitter and shared a photo of them together on her ward.

Laure has had a challenging recovery since ending up in the ICU. Her mother revealed that she had suffered from darkness and a droopy face after the emergency procedure.

She contracted Covid as well as two infections, which caused her breathing problems. Katy has shared pictures of Lauren with fans - asking them to "pray" for her.
