Kledi Kadiu speaks to the Italian media: Young people today live with envy because of social networks

I have been successful because I have known failure, young people today live with envy because of social networks,' said Kledi Kadiu during an interview for an Italian media.

For years he has been a point of reference for the 'Amici' talent show, almost as much as Maria De Filippi who discovered it together with her husband Maurizio Costanzo, who passed away last year.

Kledi Kadiu, the dancer of Albanian origin, today lives away from television, even though he has not closed the relationship with it forever. Currently, his life is focused on being a full-time father to Leah and Gabriel, his son born in 2021, who suffers from a disease called meningo-encephalitis. 'He is teaching me that you have to take life as it is and continue like normal people,' says Kadiu.

Interviewed by the Italian media, Kledi spoke about the affection that connects him with Maria De Filippin: 'I had the luck and the pleasure of living near her for many years and I was able to observe her way of working and her relationship with others. She is a great professional with great talents and does everything with great precision. I started with Maurizio. He was precise, annoying. Today everyone wants to be the first without any experience in failure. He taught me that success can come to an end, whereas today young people only aim for media success and if it doesn't come immediately it's a loss. I am someone who has succeeded' - continues Kledi - 'because I knew how to do something. I had solid foundations, even failure. I was already living from my work and I thought: if success goes away, it doesn't matter. But it was a golden age: you could choose, there were values. Today, mainly because of social networks, envy dominates'.
