"Pastel de tres leches" is the original name of the trileche, named after the 3 types of milk used to create this delicious dessert. There are still many countries that are in conflict over who first invented the trileche.

In Albania this dessert is enjoyed like everywhere in the world, so attention housewife is easier than you thought…

Ingredients for sponge cake:

250 gr flour,
400 gr powdered sugar,
6 eggs,
5 gr vanilla,
125 ml cow's milk,
1 teaspoon butter,
Baking powder.

Ingredients for milk cream:

350 gr powdered milk,
240 ml condensed milk,
240 ml pana for cakes,
rum (optional or not).
Preparation:

First we prepare the cake. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees for 10 minutes. Grease the pan with less butter and flour. The pan should be round with a diameter of 23 × 33 cm. In a bowl beat the egg whites until a soft cream is formed.

Add the sugar gradually and continue beating until a compact mass is formed. Add an egg yolk to form a soft cream. We do the same with the other yellows. Slowly add the flour, milk and baking powder. We start beating them quickly so that the composition does not lose volume. Place in the oven to bake for 25 minutes. You can buy the caramel cream ready to throw on top of your trileche.
