The much sought after and very famous meatballs are one of the most interesting dishes of world cuisine.
Preparing home-made meatballs is also one of the earliest traditions of Albanian cuisine which continues today.
They are ranked as one of the most favorite foods of the whole family from big and small.
Anyway if you are tired of their traditional meat preparation and are looking for a new taste, you are in the right place.
Today's recipe suggests you try the meatballs with spinach and potatoes as they have a wonderful taste.
Below you will find step by step explanation of the exact way of their preparation.
500 gr potatoes
250 gr spinach
3-4 tablespoons minced kachkaval cheese
5 tablespoons toasted bread crumbs
3-4 tablespoons flour
oil for redness
To launch this recipe AgroWeb.org advises you to carefully wash and clean the spinach leaves.
Then cook for 10 minutes in a pan as they are, without adding water.
When they are cooked, dry them and leave them to cool in a special container and cut them into thin threads with a sharp knife.
Meanwhile, boil the potatoes, then peel them from the skin and press them carefully until you get the mashed potatoes.
In a deep bowl combine the potatoes with the spinach adding the eggs, grated cheese and salt.
Mix well until you get a compact thick mass and in the form of dough.
