The International Festival of Contemporary Dance returns for the second year in Tirana, where it includes not only performances, but also masterclasses. The artistic director of the festival is the well-known choreographer Angelin Preljocaj. The National Theater of Opera and Ballet in collaboration with the Center for Culture and Contemporary Art "Harabel" and D18 Paris organize the second edition of the International Festival of Contemporary Dance in Tirana, under the artistic direction of choreographer Preljocaj. The start of the festival

The festival opens on September 27-28, with the show "Gravity". Gravity, one of the fundamental forces of the universe, silently orchestrates the dance of the cosmos, like an invisible thread connecting two masses, creating the attraction we call weight. Angelin Preljocaj, the visionary choreographer, delves into this enigmatic force. Throughout his career, Preljocaj has been fascinated by weight, space, speed and mass. These abstract but deeply tangible concepts have been the inspiration for his choreographic experiments.
