The book law, publications, bookstores, relations with cultural institutions were some of the issues that were addressed by the publishers at the general meeting of the Albanian Publishers Association. Representatives of publishing houses, members of this association, were present at the meeting. Publisher Frano Kulli from the publishing house "Gjergj Fishta" says that the problems faced by publishers show that more needs to be done by the institutions in the country. Regarding the selection of recommended literature for schools, the publisher Frano Kulli says that it was decided to ask the Ministry of Education to appoint the selection commissions in coordination with the Publishers' Association.
