Festivals, artistic projects and those that promote our cultural heritage, as well as the creative industry will be supported this year by the Ministry of Culture. On January 25, the Ministry of Culture opened the call for project proposals, which it will support financially this year. On the official website, it is stated that among the priorities of MK is the promotion of art, culture and cultural heritage through cultural activities. The Ministry of Culture will support projects that promote the development of cultural life in the country and are based on the artistic creativity of individuals or groups of individuals for activities and organizations such as: cultural activities in open public spaces, which coincide with the period of the season tourist from May 1 to November 15, 2023; concerts, festivals, contemporary art shows, of visual arts. Likewise, according to the MK, cultural projects, which convey the values ??of cultural heritage such as: performing arts (music, song and dance), rituals and festivals, spoken traditions or publications in the framework of the promotion of such art and heritage such as bibliography, artistic albums, photo albums, on cultural heritage, architecture. Among the priorities of the call is the promotion of art, culture and cultural heritage through digital technology. The Ministry of Culture will support projects such as: digital applications, virtual tours, audio-guides, multimedia creations, virtual museums, fun and educational interactive games for children and other similar approaches, targeting 9-year-old education children and high school students, relying on the "Education through culture" program. MK ranks the promotion of creative industries as a priority. The Ministry of Culture writes that it will support and promote creative industries, such as architecture, design, multimedia creativity, performing arts, etc., which speak the language of the times, rely on Albanian identity elements and are an important sector of artistic life in the country that creates opportunities for engagement and employment.
Deadline for applications
The Ministry of Culture informs that the call for project proposals will remain open until February 25 at 4:30 p.m. "The project implementation period is March - November 2023.
