The ASA Senate meets for the budget and activities, concern about the lack of funds for investments in the reconceptualization of the Museum of Archeology and the archives of the institutes 

The program for activities, this year's budget and the work in the Museum of Archeology were discussed at the meeting of the Senate of the Academy of Albanological Studies. The ASA Senate met under the direction of the rector prof. dr. Luan Përzhita to approve the budget and program for scientific activities and publications in 2023. The Academy of Albanological Studies states that one of the important issues, taken back into consideration, was the opening of the Restoration and Archeometry Laboratory in the premises of the Institute of Cultural Anthropology and Art Study. The members of the Senate discussed the near future of the Doctoral School, as well as the possibility of digitizing the ASA libraries, but the problem is the work at the Museum of Archeology in Tirana or the archives. This, according to ASA, is due to missing funds. "Concern was expressed about the lack of funds for investments in the re-conceptualization of the Museum of Archeology and for the archives of the ASA institutes", says the Academy of Albanian Studies. But this year's budget, compared to the 2022 budget, creates the possibility for the four institutes of the Academy of Albanian Studies to publish more titles, about 55, and to carry out more scientific activities, national, nationwide and international conferences. research and documentation expeditions, lectures, seminars and exhibitions, which will be concluded at the end of the year with the "Albanology Days".
