Figures and facts say it, the latest study: Women are better drivers than men

Written by SOT.COM.AL 1 Shkurt 2023

Women have been subjected to sexist remarks about driving for years, but new research has proven that they are better at driving than men.
Despite the fact that more women fail their test for the first time, once they find themselves on the road ladies are safer drivers, according to new research in Britain.
Confused.com found that when it comes to breaking the law on the roads men outnumber women almost four to one with less than one percent of women convicted of careless driving compared to two percent of men.
And only one percent were caught driving drunk compared to five percent of men.
Of the 600,000 motoring offenses committed in England and Wales last year, 79 per cent were committed by men.
In fact, when it comes to the most common jobs, men dominate across the board, the study shows.
There were 1.4 million insurance claims in 2018 and men are twice as likely to make an insurance claim as women.
The study found that they are also more likely to be "at fault" than women when making insurance claims after accidents.
Historically, women also pay less for their car insurance than men and this is because they are seen to be statistically safer drivers.
