Will we manage to discover any "arsenal" of "stolen" books?

Written by Pandeli Bardhi 24 Mars 2023

If this were to happen, it would be a more convincing fact that we are on the road to democracy and not to violence, but that's not what they say..What about an "arsenal" of weapons of all kinds of calibers? As much as you want! The book is the symbol of culture, it is the spiritual food that gives you life, makes you happy, opens horizons for life, gives you culture, that all-round culture that we miss so much, while the combat weapon is a symbol of violence... We say that we live in a democracy and this is true, but only on the outside, because inside we have been and we have no intention of moving from "combat" positions, in attack or defense. The terms of war, attack and defense, accompany us throughout the day and in a special way in the media, without a word in the mouths of cafes and bars that are not adapted to do something in the interest of society, but in the interest of profit with dirt from the most different, as we see and hear every day... But what do you hear in these written and visual media? Each of them calls their own militants to the "scene", at any hour of the day, to "remind" everyone independently that they are not all of that political force. Accusations and counter-accusations are woven there, "convincing" arguments are given for violations of the law and corruption by the opponent, and the same "melody" is heard by the opponent. Each political "grouping" changes its "combat position" sometimes moving to defense and sometimes to attack. Those who own the media, visual or written, mostly use it as a "weapon" to throw away their "positions", to prepare the "terrain" to attack and crush opponents, to incite hatred! Who cares about these situations? Politicians are interested, only citizens are not! Who gets any good out of this? They only have a few "kalemxhinj" to show that they are more knowledgeable than others, that they know how to knit and dig in finding "arguments" as the first material for the "weapon" of their press, but that do not serve the purpose and the mission that the written or visual media has, that of tolerance, of union, of reconciliation. Pericles, the first citizen of Athens, equal among equals, nearly two thousand four hundred years ago, said that "democracy is citizenship, it is education..."! This, message, we are not able to understand even after more than four centuries. Rarely or not at all, the written or visual media, takes a back seat to the book and everything that has to do with the education of all ages, with the properties and virtues of a healthy morality, of education, culture and everything that gives you the "keys" to open the doors of life. When you listen to the visual media or read the written press, it seems as if you are in a real war, where accusations and counter-accusations, slander and fabrications are woven from the worst. The media, journalists and analysts have taken over the "competences" of judges and prosecutors and these, in turn, create the "battlefield". When they hear these, the citizens, even they, switch to support one or the other political "group" and give their versions for one or the other because this poisoned "food" is served to us by our media. Indifference to books finds its expression in everyday life, in the use of the worst vices of society, drugs, theft, all kinds of filth. This seems from the outside, from the manner and attitudes held by young men and women towards this sad reality. Does anyone enjoy the books that fill bookstores and sidewalks? Nobody! Will we one day manage to have a young man or woman grab a book on the sidewalk or "steal" a book in the many coffee shops that stand as "color" that spoils the taste of even coffee? If such an action happens, then we can say that there is a thirst for knowledge and we have started to enter the "path" of democracy. If we have that thirst to steal books, as many young people have the thirst to steal jewelry, then we can say that we have entered the path of democracy. More pronounced is this deficiency, which is presented from what is the "alpha" way of communication, of presentation, to the fact that young men and women, intellectuals of all fields, enter various studies, but we find the shortest way, that of the Internet... This presentation begins with the employee of the bar, when, while chewing, he addresses you with the expression: "What do you want"? Even that would be enough to convince you of what kind of service you will get, or when even the administration employee, when you go for any problem, answering with indifference... We have more to do. with people, the impression is created as if we are dealing with "reprints", that they have this "vice" in their nature, but the others are many times more "human" than people, both that of loyalty and that of love , even that of cultured behavior... This world has become depraved, you profanity or hell, that I, I do not have the strength to fix... To the loss of hope and trust in the State, the "arsenals" of weapons of all types and calibers, as the "last" hope, have their source in the absolute lack of justice..! More than the presence of the state with laws, it is with indifference or even worse with anti-laws, only with punishments and "fines" up to the participation of individual citizens for the promotion of crime and corruption! The goal of preventing violations and enforcing the law seems to have been forgotten. Expressions such as, "Revolution for the overthrow of the "kleptocratic" regime, "Behind the bars of the prison", "They belong in the cell", "drag", "to be thrown" have already gained the right of citizenship in everyday life. handcuffs", "immersed in corruption", "tritol explosion", "cold weapons". etc. etc., these terms that it seems, the bodies of Justice have "handed over" to the media, which the latter, they have become the favorite "weapons" of this "cold war" that we are experiencing"! Of course, the "revolutions" that we are echoing so much today, also need the weapons that they are accumulating in arsenals, not books! Yesterday in the Dictatorship, the weapons were in their hands that they needed, that is, the Army. Today in Democracy, they are part of the "personal equipment" of the elements of crime, who are on the "attack", but also of those who stay in "protection" for life and property. This policy and these politicians don't want to see the miserable economic situation, but how to incite fights to cover the dirt of politics, to justify staying in their chairs that have been sewn to them and they don't want to let go until they fall. the teeth! Finally, from the outside, but also from the inside, the impression that we live in a democracy is not created, but in a "front room" for the war to "justify", what the strategists of the war have said that "Violence is the continuation of politics with violent means (of violence)!" The arsenals of ubiquitous weapons "speak" for this and the "arsenals" of books do not "speak" for this!
