War or peace?

War or peace?

After taking another look at the serious and well-documented analyzes of the impartial progressive press of various countries, I noticed without difficulty that, in one way or another, - triggered by the conflict in Ukraine - they ask the question: Will do we have World War or unjust peace? This is the dilemma that could change the fate of the world. It is known that wars cause great destruction, while reconstruction requires considerable expense and time. Despite these painful consequences, the Ukrainians decided to oppose the Russians, because indeed war is a great disaster, but unjust peace is not good at all. Not only because accepting peace in such cases means bearing the burden of humiliation and shame, but in the first place it means encouraging the aggressors to increase their claims. History gives many examples in this direction. One such is the Munich Agreement of 1938, when France and Great Britain surrendered to Adolf Hitler's cynical demands and sacrificed Czechoslovakia in exchange for an illusory peace that lasted only a year. It is very likely that the same thing will happen to Putin if his claims are accepted by Ukraine. In the current atmosphere of heated blood, Europe and the democratic countries of the Free World have practically begun preparations for war, according to the Latin dictum "Si vis pacem, para bellum" ("If you want peace, prepare for war"). NATO has announced that it is carrying out a significant internal transformation bearing in mind the fact that, within a few years, the Western Alliance may be forced to confront Russian expansionist aggression. There are also concerns about endangering Taiwan, Israel and South Korea. These countries are really not an integral part of NATO, but belong to the democratic world, which values ??and respects individual rights and freedoms. The enemies of the Western Alliance, namely the RP of China, North Korea and Iran, like Russia, have nuclear weapons. No one knows exactly when a new aggression like the one against Ukraine on February 24, 2022, and the one against Israel on October 7, 2023 may occur. What is known for sure is that the enemies of freedom and democracy want to change today's world order, that is, cancel the supremacy of the USA and the West in general. The sweet sleep of prosperity of the last ten years, of a certain naivety of Western societies and the order after material interests by many political leaders (some of them continue to this day to be employees of giant oil and gas companies in Russia ), this extremely harmful sleep caused the West to weaken its vigilance, to open the gates with both hands, to pump money and technology right into the hands of dictators and terrorists, who during all this time have been prepared and barely have expected to attack Western democracies.Perhaps by the end of this decade we will know whether there will be an armed war or a compromise with the aggressors. During the coming months, complicated election campaigns will take place, in which politicians and parties will try to calm the voters, remove them from insomnia and anxieties. It goes without saying that the results of the elections in the USA, EU and Great Britain, which are the main sponsors of Ukraine, NATO and European and global security, will be of great importance. It is not the same whether Joe Biden will continue to be in the White House or Donald Trump will return. The results of this year's elections in smaller countries, such as Belgium, Austria and Romania, will also be important, along with the formation of a parliamentary majority and the new government in the Netherlands. It also matters who will win the elections next year in Germany, Canada and Poland. EU and NATO policies will depend on these elections and on the options of member state governments. According to analysts, there is no doubt about the medium and long-term goals of the aggressors. Their keywords are: submission to their reactionary ideology, domination, the right of force, violence, acceptance of a new enslaving reality, fait accompli politics. For a long time, the aggressors have been making preparations for the above ambitions. Although arming and military exercises were never rare in the territories of the four Eastern dictatorships, we note that, alas, the West continued to generously provide cash and modern technology to Putin's Russia and the Iranian-sponsored Hamas, believing that maybe they would change paths. The same thing may happen sooner or later with the despotic regimes that have not yet made military aggression, ie China and North Korea. It's just a matter of time. Taiwan and South Korea are at risk, as are Eastern Europe and Israel. We already know that Communist Chinese President Xi Jinping is an ally of Putin and has appointed to the command of the army loyal generals eager for war at any moment. Dictator Kim Jong Un transported a million shells to Putin by train and inserted into the Constitution the article according to which South Korea is the main enemy of North Korea. Meanwhile, the theocratic Iranian state has taken the last steps for the production of the atomic bomb. China is helping Iran comply with a 25-year Strategic Partnership Agreement and is facilitating the establishment of diplomatic relations with Saudi Arabia, while Russia hosted an official delegation of Hamas terrorists and others in Moscow. All these, and others, prove that the Axis of Evil is active. Competent analysts think that within a year or two a new state of mind can crystallize in the Western democracies and, consequently, adopt a new political attitude, belligerent or not, that is, inclined towards compromise. There are parties and candidates who speak "about the necessary compromise with Russia" (for example the prime minister of Slovakia and that of Hungary) and party and government who speak against any compromise, but only for a fair peace, after a defeat of Russia (Britain Great Britain, Poland, Baltic States). But, at the end of the day, the biggest threat to the world we live in is thought to be the strengthening of cooperation between Russia, China, Iran and North Korea, this axis that risks the outbreak of a Third World War. In these circumstances, democratic states must cooperate strongly and comprehensively with each other, in complete unity.
