Politics is opium for Albanians

Even after three decades, we still can't, or don't want to, solve the political and economic problems, especially the inter-ethnic ones, as evidenced by the recent cases in North Macedonia. This Balkan nationalism was really misunderstood and confused with chauvinism and corrupted the concept of real nationalism. In the name of primitive nationalism, they switched to chauvinistic politics and created Albanophobia. This kind of nationalism through the centuries remained a bad interpretation; a speculative misuse, which has led to the birth and deepening of Balkan albanophobia. Then this anti-Albanian policy created the century-long hand, which has forced the official policy of the Albanian state from time to time to react against the current anti-Albanian policy of the Balkans and demanded that they give up this anti-Albanianism, because peace in the region is endangered through this albanophobia. The statements of the publicist Nexhmedin Spahiu about the Kosovar nation, already known and discussed, have provoked reactions. This is because Spahiu throws in the idea of ??the Kosovar nation, or even that the case of Kosovo will help the development of the theory of the nation. Spahiu thinks that the nation is a political construct and that it should not be confused with ethnicity. But such thoughts, as we judge, harm the Albanian issue in general and the Albanians of Kosovo and North Macedonia, in particular. The Balkan Albanian spaces remain configured within a bitter geographical and historical reality, since not only did the Albanians remain living in six Balkan states, but the worst thing is that this division, not only brought about the deep weakening of Albania and the Albanians as a whole , but different policies and interests also penetrated, which led to great century-long fatigue, because the Albanians remained unsubjugated. Albanophobia of our neighbors is an instinctive reaction, created for about a century, but now times have changed. Europe is realigning and the West is starting to correct its mistakes. Although some states of the former Yugoslavia are recovering, North Macedonia is facing itself, reaching confrontations and civil war, as was the case of Kumanovo. We think that this reality comes from the difficulty of keeping today's Macedonia on its feet, a state that was created and is kept on its feet with crutches. In the Balkans, there are no big and small, with the new changes and realignments, in our peninsula, slowly everyone will understand that there are no bigger people, everyone is equal. Albanians still do not have a national program that would emancipate them in terms of raising national consciousness, for their own protection, not to attack others. We still have problems with our identity. We think that politics should precede the evils accumulated between ourselves and our neighbors.
