Kosovo politicians should listen to the US recommendations

The events in Kosovo are nothing but the implementation of the policies of Kosovar politicians who are not in accord with the advice of the American State Department and precisely the American representative Blinken. The statement of Secretary of State Anthony Blinken writes: "The United States of America strongly condemns the actions of the Government of Kosovo to forcibly enter municipal buildings in the north of Kosovo, actions that it took against the advice of the United States and Kosovo's European partners . These actions have sharply and unnecessarily escalated tensions, undermining our efforts to help normalize relations between Kosovo and Serbia, and will have consequences for our bilateral relations with Kosovo. we call on Prime Minister Albin Kurti to change course and all parties to refrain from any further actions that will inflame tensions and incite conflict". It is true that due to the unresolved problems of the north of Kosovo, whether due to the incompetence of the Kosovo government, which unintentionally or intentionally does not implement the recommendations of American and EU friends, but also due to the pressures of the government Serbs who continue to think that Kosovo is their territory, keeping alive the desires of the dark past when Serbia kept Kosovo occupied after the infamous Conference of Ambassadors in 1913 until 1999 when the KLA and NATO forces liberated Kosovo by interrupting Milosevic's massacres of the indigenous population. The unbridled desire of Serbian politics that has indoctrinated Serbia can be expressed by the statement of tennis player Novak Djokovic, who yesterday reflectively reiterated the desire of Serbian politics and wrote: "Kosovo is the heart of Serbia. Stop the violence' on camera after his first-round match at Roland Garros on Monday, and then defended himself by saying: 'Kosovo is our cradle, our fortress, the center of the most important things for our country.' With these mindsets of Serbian politicians who have suggested themselves that Kosovo is their territory, there continues to be a part of the Serbian population, mainly the older generation. The realization of the liberation of Kosovo by NATO and KLA IN 1999 and the proclamation of the Republic in 2007 put an end to the dependence on Serbia. If Kosovo and its politicians would cooperate closely with Albania, then the Republic of Kosovo would much more easily accept the recommendations of the US State Department and those of the EU. Apparently, a part of Kosovo's politicians are divided into two ``contrapedal'' currents: the pro-American & pro-European current and the ``radicalist'' current, which tends to create a crypto-Muslim state, and stay away from the EU but also from Albania. It is known that according to a Euronews Albania Barometer survey in 2021, it showed that 79.2% of Albanians in Albania support the union with Kosovo. According to a December 2022 survey by UBO Consulting, 60% of Kosovar citizens were in favor of joining Albania. This is where the opposition to the recommendations of the USA and the EU as well as to the friendly advice of Albania, which also has its own right to consider Kosovo as part of itself, separated violently 110 years ago by the Conference of Ambassadors and those then came until 1925, when the border of Albania, with the Serbo-Croatian Kingdom and with Greece was sanctioned. The second reason is that the Agreement 1224 of Ahtisaari was approved in the UN also by the Albanian side and not in vain, the internationals included Albania in the request for an Independent Kosovo, as well as in the Rambuje Agreement signed by Thaçi, Rugova, V. Surroi and R. Qosja in 1999. Kosovar politics has never taken seriously not only the professionalism and loyalty of Albanian politics towards the USA and the EU, but also the interests of Albania as a state which was unjustly dismembered 100 years ago by the Conference of Ambassadors. The main problem nowadays and in the fresh events in the north of Kosovo lies in the observance by the Kosovar government of the American recommendations through Blinken and the double-meaning recommendations of the EU, which still does not understand that the integration of the Western Balkans into the EU through the implementation of the Berlin Process or through other initiatives recommended by the US,
