His selfishness and political myopia by avoiding the inevitable turns into a disaster and a great loss not only for him and his party, but also for democracy and for the democratic and public good. If Berisha had honestly and completely left politics, it is certain that Edi Rama would probably have left in 2017, punished by the popular vote. And there is no question that on April 25, 2021, yes, yes, and most certainly PD would be in power today.
