The challenges of the life of Seit Boshnjak

A life full of vicissitudes

The first of the Bosniak tribe, followed by the Serbian genocide, settled in Shkodra. A large part of the Nuhgjylbegoviis tribe is thought to have moved to Turkey, where they lost tribal ties, Seit Boshnjaku was born in the city of Shkodra, on August 1, 1914, into a working-class family. Poverty in those years was reduced to a minimum in every Albanian hearth, especially in those families that did not have labor to cover the minimum needs for a modest living. In these conditions at this crossroads of life, for economic needs, Seit had to drop out of school when he had completed only six classes of seven-year-olds and start working as an apprentice in a shoe factory where he found other young people. These young people with strong tendencies for art and culture and with exigencies for a better life,

After spending two years in amateur society amidst intimate conversations, discussions, debates and various alternatives, the idea was raised to set up a structured group that would react and oppose the social system, which was named: "Free Atmja" . All this social formation, aimed to spread through artistic performances and their revolutionary, patriotic ideas, to sensitize the feelings of the people, for a popular revolt.

In 1935, theatrical societies operated in Shkodra, such as: "Atmja e Lirë" and "Malet Tona", which merged into one in the "Vllaznia" Society, which staged the drama "Konti i Shën Germanit", under the direction of the talented director Sokrat Mios and the theatrical play "Prisoners", where the director was Seit Boshnjak. This show resonated and aroused interest in the public opinion for the patriotic content itself, so much so that it attracted the attention of the authorities of the time, who immediately reacted and canceled the continuation of other performances and dispersed the group,

Seiti for severe economic needs was forced during the period 1937-1939, to join the Army Music Band as a musician. After the invasion of the country by Fascist Italy, most of the gang, especially the young people were sent to Italy, to the city of Rome, to the Royal Guard Gang. From the meetings and conversations they had with their Albanian comrades in Rome, they propagandized against fascism and the occupation of the country. Their intentions were not to stay in Italy. With great finesse, they avoided the traps that were organized to marry Italian girls, to have their contingent. But all the forms and methods used by the fascist agencies failed, as the patriotic spirit, the love for the homeland, did not allow them to fall into the adventures of the fascist agencies. In June 1943, Seiti found the opportunity and came to Albania with permission, but did so in order not to return to Italy. After coming to Albania, he received the first information on the situation from family members, relatives and Shkodra society. Seit's house and the entire Bosniak tribe was one of the most important and powerful bases of illegal work in the city of Shkodra. From the first days he arrived in Shkodra, he got in touch with activists and leaders of anti-fascist groups, mainly Vasil Shanton and his cousin Hajrulla Kastrati. This was an inspiring meeting, which instilled in Seit the irreversible feeling of engaging with all his intellectual potential in this popular movement. That night was the milestone, which placed him on new rails. It was the birthday of a great national and patriotic mission, who absorbed it and included it in all his moral, spiritual and physical being, so as not to stop running until the victory of the National Liberation War. The active activity of Seit Boshnjak and his comrades would not go unnoticed by the occupying forces and their collaborationist collaborators. One of the activists of the guerrilla group of Shkodra, was Seit Boshnjaku, since the end of 1943, for his revolutionary activity, he was arrested and brutally tortured in the prison of Shkodra. Every moment, every day, every hour and every minute, they knew they were the sons of death. They had taken death with them since they started the war. Seiti became a prison resident, moving from Shkodra Prison to the Pristina Concentration Camp, which was a real thorn in the side. Death knocked every day in the Prishtina Camp, without knowing the turn of the victims. One of the thrilling episodes Seiti told was the horrific massacre of German Nazis on October 23, 1944, in which 104 prisoners were shot in the most macabre form, stripped naked, to arouse fear in others. Life was at stake. Seiti was characterized by active actions. Suddenly the turn of the shooting, organized the escape with some comrades under the hail of bullets of the camp guards and violated in the Drenica Highlands, joining the VII Brigade of Kosmet, and then the XVIII Brigade of Kukes, where he fought until the liberation of the country and further the departure of the Nazis from Kosovo in January 1945. Seiti is the hero, who has seen death with his own eyes several times, without scaring your eye. For his contribution to the war, he was decorated by the Presidium of the People's Assembly with the "Medal of Liberation",

Pas çlirimit Teatri Popullor u bë shtëpia shpirtërore e Seit Boshnjakut ku derdhi talentin mes roleve të shumtë. Në galerinë e aktorëve, regjisorëve dhe kineastëve shqiptarë bën pjesë edhe aktori i mirënjohur i teatrit dhe kinematografisë, Seit Boshnjaku, një figurë emblematike e artit shqiptar, që ka lënë gjurmët e veta në rrjedhën e kohërave. Po të bëjmë inventarin e roleve që ka luajtur Seiti gjatë karrierës së tij artistike më shumë se 20 vjeçare, e kalojnë qindëshin në pjesët më të rëndësishme të Teatrit Popullor. Ndërsa në kinematografi rolet e tij më të spikatura në filmat artistik janë të njohura, si ndër më kryesorët mund të përmendim filmin e “Skënderbeut”, “Furtuna”, “Debatiku”, që spikat në rolin e Frankos, kur rreh Colin, “Pse bien këto daulle” etj., që kanë lënë gjurmë të thella të artdashësit shqiptar. Në parathënien e profesor Bardhosh Gaçes thuhet se: Seit Boshnjaku është nga ata mjeshtrit, për të cilët regjisori i madh Stanislavski pat shkruar: “Nuk ka rol të madh e rol të vogël, ka artistë të mëdhenj dhe artistë të vegjël”. Ishte një artist i vërtetë, sepse me pamjen e jashtme diti të depërtojë në psikologjinë e brendshme të personazheve, si rrallë artistë të tjerë. Ai solli një kolorit karakteresh nga jeta, veçanërisht nga rolet negative në teatrin dhe kinematografinë shqiptare. Në faqet e kësaj monografie Seit Boshnjaku është vlerësuar nga regjisorët dhe kolegët e Teatrit Popullor, nga aktorët e regjisorët e Kinematografisë, si artisti me botë të madhe shpirtërore, si njeriu i kolektivit që gjithmonë sillte humor dhe energji pozitive gjatë provave dhe në prag premierash. Seit Boshnjaku, ishte aktor i kontrasteve, që ka ditur të gërshetojë në mënyrë harmonike patose dhe nivele të ndryshme kontradiktore të gjendjeve dhe veprimeve të personazhit. Ai, u shqua për mishërimin realist të figurave artistike, të evidentimit të psikologjisë së brendshme, veçanërisht në rolet episodike, të cilat është e vështirë që në pak tekst, të zbërthesh një karakter. Karakteristikat morale dhe artistike i kanë shprehur mjaft mirë artistët e mëdhenj si Margarita Xhepa dhe Reshat Arbana “ Nderi i Kombit”, Profesor Birçe Hasko “Mjeshtër i Madh”, Luftar Paja “Artist i Popullit” si dhe Lazër Filipi “Artist i Merituar”.

 Në vlerësimin që i bën Margarita Xhepa, mes të tjerash shkruan: “Atëherë ishte koha e të mëdhenjve. Seiti i qëndiste karakteret e tij. Ai ishte një prind i shkëlqyer dhe kishte marrëdhënie të shkëlqyera me aktorët. Këta aktor e rritën shumë nivelin e teatrit shqiptar, ndaj kanë emër dhe sot. Pa ata, teatri s’do të kishte famën që gëzon sot. Rolet pikante të Seit Boshnjakut, e kanë zanafillën tek dashuria e madhe që ai kishte për teatrin, për aktrimin në të gjitha dimensionet e tij”. Ndërsa Reshat Arbana thotë se: “E kam ende të gjallë portretin e tij të veçantë dhe ekspresiv, plot dritë, hije, thyerje, e skalitje, si prej skulptori të talentuar. Portreti i tij fliste shumë, për karakterin që Ai interpretonte. Një shprehje e egër, plot ngarkesë emocionale aq e besueshme, bënte që ta urreje dhe harroje që shihje një figurë artistike, që ishte larg karakterit të tij, të butë e të dashur. Seit Boshnjaku, radhitet në gjerdanin e artë të Teatrit Kombëtar, plot dinjitet, në vendin e Tij të merituar”. Profesor Birçe Hasko, e karakterizon me këto fjalë: “Në filma Seiti ishte po aq i përkushtuar sa në teatër. Ai nuk i ndante rolet në të vegjël apo të mëdhenj, por luante me atë nivel, me atë dashuri sikur të ishin role të veçantë. Kishin një disiplinë absolute. Edhe me role të vegjël nuk gjeje role të çara në nivelin artistik. Kjo ishte e veçanta e krijimtarisë së tij”. Luftar Paja, e përshkruan me këto ngjyra: “Seiti ishte një aktor me një plastikë të veçantë, shumë të lakmueshme. Midis të tjerave ishte tepër skrupuloz në punë, besnik tekstesh, besnik i orareve, në të gjithë pjesëmarrjen. Nuk kishte artist kaq të edukuar e kaq punëtor sa ishte Seit Boshnjaku. Këta artistë të mëdhenj me rolet e tyre kanë thyer konceptin se s’ka role të mëdha e të vogla, por ka artistë të mëdhenj ”. Lazër Filipi, transmeton kujtime nga jeta në teatër me ngjyra realiste: “Seiti ka qenë një njeri shumë i dashur, por në pamje dukej shumë serioz. Në role ka qenë i planit tragjik dhe i planit dramatik, por në jetë ishte me shumë humor.
