Ylli Pata: The Demons Awakened by the Case of Freddy Beller

Qirjako Micotaqis, a few months before the electoral campaign for the May parliamentary elections of this year, visited the areas inhabited by the Greek minority in Albania; Dropullin and Finiq, as well as Himara.

Mitsotaqis, and his party, favored by a weakness of the Greek left opposition, which is quite divided, made a strategy to win an absolute majority in the Greek Parliament. A big ambition, considering that for decades the Greek government has come as a result of strange alliances. For example: the father of today's Greek prime minister, Kostandin Mitsotaqis, governed in coalition with a group of Greek prime ministers. One of these was the world-famous musician Mikis Teodorakis, who was Minister of Culture in the conservative government. Meanwhile, Alexis Tsipras, a politician who came from the "deep left" governed with an extreme right party, ANEL, where the minister of defense was Panos Kammenos.

Who often wore the khaki uniform and did military maneuvers on the border with Albania, a NATO ally. It was the Tsipras government that stripped Jorgo Goros, the mayor of Himara, of his Greek citizenship. It was precisely the Tsipras government that reactivated Fredi Beleri in the focus of Greek official circles.

Leonidha Rokanas, the then Greek ambassador, coming from an experience with the secret services of his country, often held unofficial meetings with Fredi Beleri, as he was considered problematic thanks to his criminal record, but also political connections.

Beleri was one of the members of Golden Dawn, an extremist neo-Nazi organization that was later outlawed in Greece.

It was exactly then that Beleri started appearing in the media, as a political exponent, and became pregnant with the party of Vangjel Dules and Omonian. Dule, after totally losing the political support of the residents of the Greek minority in Dropull and Finiq, but also the contacts with the Athens authorities, after it became irrelevant as a factor, approached the Greek extremist political circles, those who demand the autonomy of "Vorio Epiri" . But the ANEL party of the former Minister of Defense failed to endear itself to the extremists who were members of the Golden Dawn. After the neo-Nazis did not forgive both Kamenos and Tsipras for outlawing their party and imprisoning their leaders.

Duke parë këtë situatë, Neo Demokratia e Qirjako Micotaqisit, e cila herë pas here në histori kishte pasur aleanca me qarqe ekstremiste nacionaliste, kryesisht në veri të Greqisë, në kufi me Shqipërinë e Maqedoninë e Veriut, ju afrua ish-elektoratit të Agimit të Artë.

Në zgjedhjet e vitit 2019, Nea Demokratia arriti të marrë një pjesë të elektoratit që kishte votuar Agimin e Artë, ndërsa në zgjedhjet e këtij viti ju fut me kokë, pasi Micotaqis kërkonte që të merrte i vetëm shumicën parlamentare për të qeverisur pa aleatë. Mirëpo për të arritur këtë objektiv, i është dashur të bëjë aleanca me faktorë lokalë dhe periferik, të cilët grumbullojnë sillogje e qarqe ekstremiste të të gjitha niveleve.

Ndërkaq, në kulmin e fushatës për zgjedhjet parlamentare greke, Fredi Beleri, ishte një nga eksponentët kryesorë të propagandës për të fituar zgjedhjet në veri të Greqisë, nga eksponentë të Nea Demokratia. Të cilët jo vetëm premtuan marrjen e Himarës, por hapën fjalë si atje edhe këtu se “e kemi mbyllur këtë punë”.

E kështu Micotaqis, lejoi qarqet e tij që të kryenin “Dirty buisnes” me Sali Berishën për kandidimin e Fredi Belerit në Himarë. Një marrëveshje politike me një të ndëshkuar nga SHBA si “Non Grata”, e kandidimin e një personi penalisht të pakandidueshëm, e politikisht që zgjon të gjithë demonët nacionalistë nga të dy krahët.

Siç po e shikojmë, nismën e ka marrëf PDIU e Shpëtim Idrizit, që natyrisht nuk do t’i humbë ky rast, ndërkohë që “BF” e Sali Berishës dhe Ilir Metës, ka pësuar një gol aq të rëndë politikisht sa e ka dërmuar.
