The Minister of Finance, Delina Ibrahima, in a statement for the media, spoke about the decisions taken by the government today, as well as about the revision of the betting law.
Ibrahimaj said that the betting law is being reviewed, but he emphasized that they will only take place online and that there will not be any physical points open in the territory of Albania.
"The betting issue has been widely discussed. We are working on revising the online betting law. It is important to note that there will be no open betting runs in the territory. As it happens all over the world, these bets will take place online.
Currently people will play online on different portals, it is not a fact that does not happen. But we are working to fix this law and protect it from ill-wishers", said Ibrahimaj.
