Will you support Basha if he runs for DP chairman? Alibeaj surprises with the

PD MP, Enkelejd Alibeaj, did not give a definite answer when asked if he will support Lulzim Basha for DP chairman or not.

He stated that he supports a party with rules and separate powers.

"I support a party with statutory rules, with separate powers, with powers that control the president, with decentralized powers", said Alibeaj.

Alibeaj also explained why PD did not work with the extension of the mandate of the commanding president.

"Developments in the DP are public, I am saying it too, that it will take an hour or so before the DP takes its form of operation. Extending its leadership with a commanding chairman was not the best solution. It was a decision of the presidency and the parliamentary group, we all agreed that we would continue with a commanding president until after the elections. It was reasonable, necessary that we enter the process as soon as the elections were over. I can't understand that even after an extension after a year or so we still take time!! Time for what? I have said that we must give up that the fate of a party depends on the name of an individual. Everyone is the leader of the party, the rules are what make the party", stressed Alibeaj.
