MP Jorida Tabaku, invited to an interview on "Now" in Euronews Albania, said that the Democratic Party should not rush to elect a new president.
According to her, a different process is needed so that the Democratic Party is as close as possible to the people and must increase the number of memberships.
Asked if it will be Basha or Berisha who will unite the party, she said that there is already talk in DP about a different organization which will come through a group of people and this from a single chairman.
"The democratic party does not need a figure 1, but a group of people who together try to give the message that the chair does not matter, if we do not change.
With this idea of ??directing this process and opening new memberships, I thought of proposing this as an activity of a group of the Democratic Party, which really wants to unite this large group of the Democratic Party.
We will discuss this at length, it is not easy. But the election of a chairman at this moment does not work, we must do a membership process from the bottom up", said Jorida Tabaku.
