Berisha "without a party", Frrok Çupi clears up the scenario of

Analyst Frrok Çupi stated that former Prime Minister Sali Berisha knew that he would not be able to take over the leadership of the Democratic Party, since he was declared "non grata" by the United States of America in May 2021.

In an interview for ABC News, Çupi said that since he was labeled as a democracy underminer, it was known that Berisha, but also Meta and other officials, would be in the current political situation.

This, according to Çup, forced Berisha to form a coalition with Meta.

"They have known from the beginning that it will end at this point. How did they know? Everything is here. They have known since May 2021, when Berisha was declared "non grata.
