Sali Berisha appeared at the weekly conference with journalists, as he spoke about the protest of December 6, the day when the biggest leaders of the European Union and the Western Balkans gather in the Albanian capital.

According to Berisha, protests at summits or international meetings, apart from totalitarian countries, are the most normal things in free countries.

Sali Berisha's speech: 

On December 6, the summit of the EU member states with the countries of the Western Balkans will take place in Tirana. Protests at summits and international meetings, except in dictatorial countries, are the most normal thing, they are almost a law.

Wherever there are meetings of leaders, there are protests for causes. In these protests, citizens have often gone into deep civil disobedience. This happened in Athens, Genoa, Paris, Dublin, Washington, etc.

A few weeks ago, Americans protested in New York during the UN summit. Protests took place in Brussels a few months ago when the EU summit with Africa was held. No one prevented them, no one insulted them as Kremlin agents like Edi Rama, Belinda Balluku and Taulant Balla do.

Americans protest when there are summits, the French protest when there are summits, Western Europeans throw eggs and paint at them when there are summits. But that never happens in North Korea, Cuba, Egypt, Saudi Arabia or anywhere else. There, protests are illegal and citizens cannot protest. Protests are not allowed in Moscow.
